June 24: Fieldon Independence Day Celebration – Celebrate in downtown Fieldon with community events, food and drink, a DJ, parade, restaurant specials, vendors, and fireworks at dusk. Event begins at Noon. Location: Fieldon Pavilion, 205 S 1st St.

June 23 - 25: White Hall Fireworks & Homecoming– Celebrate Homecoming and July 4 with carnival rides, food, vendors, live music, a parade, and more. Fireworks begin at 9:15 PM on June 24 and events begin June 23 at 7 PM. Location: Lions Park, W. Carlinville Street

June 23 – 25: Staunton Homecoming & Fireworks – Celebrate Staunton Homecoming and Independence Day with food, carnival rides, live music, games, a parade, and fireworks on June 25 at dusk. Event kicks off June 23 with events starting at 6 PM. Location: Staunton Recreation Park, 900-998 Montgomery St.

July 1 – 2: Brighton’s Independence Day at the Park – Two days of carnival rides, booth activities, a 5K run, a pie judging, food and drinks, a home run derby, live music, a kid's fishing derby and casting contest, a BMX race, vendors, and fireworks July 1 at dusk. Events start at 8 AM. Location: Schneider Park, 100 - 499 N Maple Street

July 1: Edwardsville Independence Day Celebration – Edwardsville Municipal Band performance, food and drink, and fireworks – event begins at 4 PM with Muny performance at 7 PM & fireworks at 8 PM. Location: American Legion Post #199, 58 South State Route 157

July 1: Gillespie Lake Fireworks – Fireworks will begin at approx. 9 PM or at dusk. Location: Gillespie Lakes, Carney Drive

July 1 - 4: Granite City Independence Day Celebration – Multiple days of community events including a 5K race, car show, and Melting Pot Market July 1, a softball tournament July 2, a Dive-In Movie at Wilson Park Pool July 3, and fireworks at approx. 9:15 PM July 4. Location: Granite City High School, 2900 Benton St.

July 2: Carlinville Independence Day Fireworks – Fireworks will begin at approx. 9:30 PM. Location: Macoupin County Fairgrounds, 2368 State Route 4

July 2: Grafton Independence Day Fireworks – Fireworks will begin at dusk. Location: Grafton Riverfront, Front Street

July 2: Greenfield Fireworks at the Lake – Fireworks will begin at approx. 9 PM. Location: Greenfield Rivers Lake, 2250 E Greenfield

July 3: Alton Fireworks Spectacular – Fireworks over the Mississippi & Clark Bridge will begin at approx. 9:30 PM with live music beginning at 5 PM. Location: Riverfront Park & Liberty Bank Amphitheater, 1 Riverfront Drive

July 3: Shipman Independence Day Fireworks – Fireworks will begin at approx. 9 PM at dusk. Location: Shipman Lake, Lakeview Road

July 4: Godfrey Fun Fest and Independence Day Fireworks - Godfrey Family Fun Fest will feature kids and adult activities, food and drink vendors, and fireworks at 9:15 PM. Location: Glazebrook Park, 1401 Stamper Lane

July 4: Litchfield Fireworks Display – Celebrate Independence Day on Lake Lou Yaeger with fireworks at dusk. Location: Marina 1, 4943 Beach House Trail

July 4: Troy Fourth of July Fireworks – Celebrate the 4th with food, live music, and fireworks. Event starts at 6 PM with fireworks at dusk. Location: Tri-Township Park, 410 Wickliffe St.

July 4: Jerseyville Independence Day Fireworks – Fireworks will begin at dusk. Location: American Legion Post #492, 101 West Fairgrounds Avenue

July 8: Great Illinois River Raft Race – Watch as multiple river raft races take place around Godar Diamond to the finish line at the Hardin’s Riverfront. Event will host community vendors selling food, drinks, and crafts, a beer tent, 50/50 raffle, bounce houses, an official bags tournament, and fireworks at dusk. Event starts at 3 PM. Location: Hardin Riverfront, 106 S Water Street

July 8: Tri-County Rod & Gun Club Fireworks in Brighton – Fireworks will begin at dusk. Location: Tri-County Rod & Gun Club, 20593 Oak Rest Rd.
