Bring along a board game and get comfy with a drink by the fire in Recess' cozy atmosphere. The Edwardsville location is the only place where you can get a foaming Recess brew on tap and fill one of the brewery's unique growlers. Try one of the pub's signature cocktails, a glass of wine or, for those who want something non-alcoholic, there is free soda, coffee, and popcorn courtesy of the Wildey Theater.

Hungry for more? Recess offers Billy Goat Chips and welcomes guests to order food from outside locations that can be enjoyed in the tap room. Recess also occasionally provides food with the uncorking of a new brew or has food trucks on site for special events. Recess' lineup of beers changes often and the taproom is constantly abuzz with the latest stout, porter, pale ale, or sour brew. Beers are offered seasonally, annually, by limited release, and are also sold canned or bottled on site.

There's always something happening at Recess! Live music plays on many weekends, the brewery offers Beer School to teach about the beer-making process, and there are guided tours of the brewery for both individuals and groups. Need an event space? Recess' large taproom can be rented for parties and events: up to 40 guests for a half taproom rental and 100 guests for a full taproom rental. The hip space has a gorgeous full bar and can be doubled using the spacious outdoor patio.
