The American Cancer Society of Missouri presents 42 Doors of Hope — an art installation series to raise funds and awareness for Hope Lodge St. Louis.
For 25 years, our Hope Lodge has welcomed hundreds of thousands of cancer patients into our community, providing a free place to stay so they can focus on just one thing: getting well. However, after years of operations, it is showing signs of constant use.
To help, the American Cancer Society partnered with 42 local artists to showcase the journeys of cancer patients. The 42 doorways symbolize the 42 guest suites available at the soon-to-be renovated Hope Lodge St. Louis, which will help connect cancer patients to the care they need. Each door is unique, as is each patient’s journey to wellness. However, the doors are part of a collection — a community — representing what each guest experiences at Hope Lodge St. Louis.
We invite you and your family to safely visit all 42 doors this summer and fall and vote for your favorite at 42doorsofhope.org.
