One of American history’s most chilling tales takes center stage during An Evening with the Bell Witch on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. Join author Troy Taylor as he explores the story behind the legendary Bell Witch for a night of unsettling history and haunting storytelling.

The story of the Bell Witch is one of the most bloodcurdling, and best documented stories in our history and recounts the horror experienced by the Bell family of Adams, Tennessee, as an unseen entity attacked and brutalized them for more than four years! It is the only case in the annals of the supernatural in which a ghost actually murdered one of the people involved! This is a night that will have you keeping the lights on when you get home at night!

• Events held at the American Oddities Museum at 301 Piasa St. in Alton
  
• No dinner will be served at this event, but the concession stand will be open.
  
• American Hauntings Bookstore located in the Museum so books will be available for purchase and can be autographed by Troy Taylor
