Border Wars Half Distance Triathlon is set for October 1, 2023, in beautiful Litchfield on Lake Lou Yaeger! Participants can choose to race the triathlon doing the 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run, or they can choose to race the aqua bike which consists of a 1.2 mile swim followed by a 56 mile bike. Participants should expect wetsuit legal water racing a two-loop swim course along the beautiful Lake Lou Yaeger beach. The bike course is flat and fast, racing down country roads. The run is a two-loop course running on rural county streets and alongside some of Litchfield's residential areas. Litchfield is a perfect spot to tailgate and enjoy the day for family, friends, and competitors once done pouring it all out on the course.
