There’s nothing quite like Bicycle Moto-Cross when it comes to an adrenaline-pumping sport. From the moment riders drop from the gate, the race is a mad dash for the finish line. BMX became an Olympic sport in 2008 and was televised live for the first time in summer, 2021. Mixing the speed and finesse of Motocross with raw physical body power, BMX races generally last less than sixty seconds around a track ranging from 900 to 1,100 feet. Racers compete in several heats and finish with a finals race in each division. Watch as local and state riders race to qualify for state and national titles at Brighton BMX’s certified course. Spectate and enjoy hot stadium food and raffles while cheering on your favorite riders on Thursdays and Saturdays!
