One of the best ways to add beneficial organisms to your soil is through high quality compost. This class goes over what organisms live in the soil, how those organisms improve soil quality and make nutrients available to plants, and how to apply compost to add more of these beneficial organisms to your soil. The class will cover the different ways compost can be managed to increase the organisms you want more of (and how to know what you want more of) and the best ways to apply compost to resist drought and hold on to more carbon to feed your plants.
