Come to Litchfield October 14 for the Dirty Hootenanny Biathlon (previously the Harvest Hootenanny). The run/walk portion of the race will be on the Route 66 Hike & Bike Trails at Lake Lou Yaeger! This year's race will benefit Aaron Roach. Aaron has suffered a head/brain injury as a result of a motorcycle accident. After 54 days in the hospital - 2 ambulance rides, a helicopter ride, 1 major surgery to remove part of his skull to relieve pressure, 2 other procedures, several CTs, MRIs, X-rays and lab work, 2 weeks in ICU sedated, paralytic, and intubated, and 1 month in Chicago doing rehab - he is finally home. Proceeds will go towards helping this young man's medical expenses.

Race Details:

*5K-ish trail run & Biathlon
*USAT sanctioned BIATHLON. First-time athletes are welcome- expect some serious racing as well. Run 5K on the trails and bike 15 miles.
*Awards to top male and female in each race category and top 3 age-division finishers for males and females: Under 19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, etc.
*USAT rules require bar ends to be plugged, no charge.

On-Site Registration: 1M: $30 5K: $35 Biathlon: $55

*In case of dangerous cycling conditions Biathlon will be converted to a 10K run. No refunds.
