The Edwardsville Route 66 Festival
Come and get your kicks on Route 66! The Edwardsville Route 66 Festival celebrates the nostalgia of the Mother Road yet again at the annual festival featuring live music, a classic car show and cruise, vendor shopping, a 10k marathon, and more!
The City of Edwardsville is excited to welcome locals and travelers alike back to Edwardsville City Park to enjoy delicious food, great tunes, local art, and America's historic highway! Route 66 is a slice of authentic Americana that can't be duplicated- the foundation of the "Great American Road Trip". Since its groundbreaking in 1926, the retro route has been a vital artery in the American heartland, leading travelers and tourists to national parks, oddities, unique diners and restaurants, and one-of-a-kind towns- there isn't a much better way to jump into the American experience than on a trip down the memorable "Main Street of America".
Edwardsville, Illinois is one of the oldest towns on the classic route, and no one celebrates Route 66 like southwest Illinois! Shop at the festival or in downtown Edwardsville, bring your vintage wheels to compete, grab a bite of festival food or a cold drink, and bring your friends and family to enjoy a Midwest Route 66 spring day!
