This series is for all ages- you are never too old or young to experience the wonder of the natural world! Come give bugs a chance and expand your knowledge, creativity, and wonder!

August 24: Fishflies & My Collection: What do you collect? Some people have amazing assortments of stamps, postcards, or spoons- but others prefer a more nature-inspired collection! Come learn how you can build your own collection of natural specimens while also studying the life cycle of aquatic insects and answer this question: What the heck is a Fishfly?

September 14: Spooky Spiders & Frankenstein Bug Builder: As the air chills and we start putting our Halloween decorations out, you may notice some anatomically incorrect spiders littering people’s houses in an attempt to be “scary”. These misunderstood arachnids have a bad reputation-especially around Spooky Season. Come turn your fear into fascination as you delve into the wonderfully weird world of spiders! Step into your mad scientist lab coat and try your hand at ‘Frankenstein-ing’ a brand-new bug and answer this question: What is a spider’s favorite way to travel?
