Alton Farmers' & Artisans' Market
Alton is where it’s at for a day of shopping. The Alton Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market is held at the corner of Landmarks and Henry streets beginning at 4 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m. on Wednesday's and 8 a.m. till noon on Saturdays all the way through October. There will be numerous types of fresh produce, crafts, baked goods, plant and flowers, locally raised hormone-free meat, handmade soaps, jewelry, artwork, pottery, art demonstrations and much more.

Jerseyville is hosting its farmers market in the Outrageous Outdoor parking lot. Locally grown produce and homemade artisan items will be featured. This market will take place every Tuesday startingin June (4 p.m. to 7 p.m.) through September. For additional information, call (618) 498-8466.
Wood River Farmers' Market
Wood River has scheduled its farmers market every Thursday (4 p.m. to dusk) It will be held in the parking lot on Route 143 and 1st Street. For more information or to set up a booth, call (618) 877-3433.
Brighton will be hosting a farmers market every Thursday night from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m. The market will be held at Schneider Park on the north end of town, under the big pavillion. There will be food and beverage vendors, so you can grab a quick bite to eat while you shop till you drop.
