One would be hard pressed to find a better outdoor event venue than the open-air amphitheater.
The vast Mississippi River and picturesque Clark Bridge set the scene for nationally known acts, family-friendly festivals and community events. Local favorites such as the July 3 Fireworks Celebration, Food Truck Festival, Feed the Need concert series and ever-popular Alton Expo are just some of the events that call the amphitheater home. Grammy Award-winning artists including Kenny Rogers and Nelly have also graced the amphitheater's stage in recent years.

Venue Policies for City Sponsored Events
License; Ejection and Cancellation; No Redemption Value
Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater staff reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language or who fails to comply with venue rules. Breach of terms or rules will terminate your license to attend the event without refund. A ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused upon refunding the ticket's face amount. A ticket is not redeemable for cash.
Valid Form of ID
All patrons wishing to purchase alcoholic beverages must have a valid form of Identification. In addition, ALL patrons must have a valid form of identification to enter events with age restrictions. We will deny entry to anyone presenting fraudulent identification. No refunds.

Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater reserves the right to search anyone, and their belongings, who enters the premises. In addition, Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater reserves the right to determine, on a case-by-case basis, which items are not permitted to be on premises.
The possession of all firearms and other weapons (including concealed firearms) on our premises is strictly prohibited.
Camera / Recording
Camera and Recording policies are dictated by the Artist and are based on a show-by-show basis. Please see the specific show on the shows page for any additional information we may have. Please remember: Camera policies may be changed at the last minute by the Artist. We reserve the right to restrict camera use on the premises.
Smoking is not allowed in the reserved seating areas or on the lawn. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes.
Outside Food (or) Drink
No outside food or beverages allowed in Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater on show days.
Backpacks / Coolers
No backpacks, coolers of any kind are permitted, including Camelbacks.
Stage Diving/Crowd Surfing
Stage diving and/or crowd surfing will result in immediate ejection from a concert.
Normally re-entry is allowed for those over 21 who are stamped at the door. Minors (those under 21) are never allowed re-entry. If a minor leaves the building without an escort, they will not be allowed to re-enter.
VIP ADA seating will be located to the left and right of the stage with other VIP seats for city sponsored shows. General Admission ADA seating will be on the top walkway in the lawn on the concrete pads left and right for city sponsored shows. For city-sponsored shows, disabled patrons should purchase a ticket and then call the Visitors Center or email with their name, number of people in their party and cell phone number. Parking will be provided for all ADA tagged vehicles at city-sponsored shows. This will take place in the South lot.
Q: Are tickets refunded if it rains?
A: All shows are rain or shine. There are no refunds or exchanges.

Q: Am I allowed to bring in lawn chairs?
A: Lawn chairs are OK. One chair per ticket holder. VIP seating will have folding chairs.
Q: Am I allowed to bring in my own beverages/bottles?
A: One, unopened bottle of water is allowed in Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater on show days.
Q: Am I allowed to bring in my own snacks?
A: No. There will be vendors and concession stands.
Q: What food will be available at the concession stands?
A: Hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, chicken tenders, nachos, fries, soda, water and beer.
Q: Do children need tickets to enter the concerts?
A: Yes. Only children under 5 are free.
Q: Can I bring my dog or cat?
A: Nope, no pets are allowed.
Q: Where can I enter the Amphitheater?
A: There will be entrances set up at Riverfront Park.

There are three parking lots near Riverfront Park in Alton. One is at the Henry Street entrance (corner of Henry & Landmarks), another by Argosy Casino Alton and the third smaller lot is reserved for VIP and ADA accessible parking. Parking is also available at the city-owned lot across the street from ConAgra on William Street. Street parking is available on Broadway, 3rd and 4th streets. A Pedestrian Bridge is located at Broadway so people can cross Landmarks Boulevard to get to Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater.
VIP ADA seating will be located to the left and right of the stage with other VIP seats for city sponsored shows.
GA ADA seating will be on the top walkway in the lawn on the concrete pads left and right for city sponsored shows.

Tickets & Box Office
GA (General Admission) tickets provide entry to the concert and seating on the general admission lawn area. VIP ticket holders will have a reserved lawn seat, entry to concert, reserved parking, and access to VIP tent on the side of the stage with private food and beverage booths and restroom. Concessions (Beer, soft drinks, food) are an additional cost and not included in the GA or VIP ticket. Check website for concession prices and special promotions.
