Mac’s Downtown, located in the heart of historic downtown Alton, has been serving customers delicious food, ice cold beer, drinks and entertainment for more than 35 years. What began in a single building, serving BBQ sandwiches and pizza, has evolved into Mac’s Downtown, a complex of buildings featuring dining, drinks, entertainment, and off-track betting.

The menu includes tasty, tempting appetizers, such as Mac’Cho’s - sweet beef, grilled chicken or pulled pork, topped with jalapenos, sour cream, queso and cheese; gourmet build-your own burgers; platters of St. Louis style ribs; pork steaks; pepperloin kabobs; chicken spiedini; and of course, the best in quality steaks. Mac's Downtown also partners with Olga's Kitchen to serve Olga's fan-favorite dishes to the local community.
