Mooneyham Art LLC brings a fresh face to the Alton art scene just off Downtown State Street. Known for its curated approach to artistic excellence, the gallery pairs emerging local talent with established regional, national, and international artists, offering an inspiring and immersive environment. Mooneyham Art is across the street from the Jacoby Arts Center, both thriving in Alton's burgeoning new Arts District.

Under the curation of Charles Mooneyham and co-curator Stephen Scordias, Mooneyham Art LLC takes a unique approach to accessibility—requiring all exhibiting artists to offer giclée prints of their work, ensuring art lovers at every budget level can take home a piece of the exhibition. The gallery’s current display features a diverse and distinguished lineup, including local artist Natalie Welborn, regional artists Jay Thompson, Stephen Scordias, Gray Finch, Saundra Griffin, and Claudia Ruth, national artists Charles Mooneyham and Joe Bova Conti, and internationally recognized artist Craig Downs. Visitors can explore a wide range of artistic mediums, from painting and photography to fine-crafted jewelry, sculpture, and ceramics.

Mooneyham Art LLC is a curated gallery space, not a community gallery. Each featured artist is personally selected by Mooneyham and his co-curator and consultant, Stephen Scordias, ensuring that the collection maintains a consistent and high-quality aesthetic. Mooneyham and Scordias are also known for their recent production of the Alton Art Expo, a celebrated event that benefited Centerstone, a national behavioral health network, further demonstrating their commitment to fostering a strong and vibrant arts culture that is centered on lifting community and empowering wellness via the arts.
