Take a guided windshield tour of the St. Louis Regional Airport including the airport fire station, control tower, two runways, fuel farm, and West Star Aviation service station. During the tour, your group will learn about the history of the airport which started as a small sod runway in 1928 and has grown into a world-class facility with over 600 acres with runways large enough to accommodate any aircraft ever built. At one point, the airport was the largest Cessna aircraft dealership and can still service any Cessna ever produced. St. Louis Regional Airport is located at 8 Terminal Drive in East Alton.
