Explore strange history, haunted objects, supernatural items, sideshow relics, medical quackery, serial killers, funeral artifacts, religious relics, and more at Troy Taylor's American Oddities Museum! The museum is located in downtown Alton - also known as the most haunted small town in America.

Exhibits include local artifacts from the Enos Apartments building, McPike Mansion, and other haunted Alton sites, as well as illusions, ghost hunting kits, Victorian Vampire Killing kits, a taxidermized "mermaid," and hundreds of equally bizarre objects. From robots that watch wanderers move through the displays to the curious world of quack medicine, there is a bit of everything in this museum dedicated to the weird, the spooky and the macabre.

Admission is $7 per person. Children 10 and under are admitted free. Last admission of the day is sold at 4:30 p.m.

This is also the home of the American Hauntings Ink bookstore, where book lovers can browse the unique selection of spooky literature.
