Moonlight Hike

The Nature Institute

2213 S. Levis Lane
Godfrey, Illinois 62035

  • Admission: $5 per person; members free; registration required
  • Time: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM

Join this night hike through the woods. On the trails of the Mississippi Sanctuary and Olin Nature Preserve, the terrain is light to moderate (may include some elevation changes) and is appropriate for families. Expect the hike to be about 2 miles with stops along the way. Guides choose routes based on the group and decide on the route the night of the hike.

Please be on time. The hike leaves at the start time. Park in the lower parking lot (the rock lot at the bottom of the hill). Meet in front of Talahi Lodge.

Bring reusable water bottle, bug spray, flashlight (although the guide will encourage keeping it off for most of the hike). Dress in layers with appropriate footwear.

Please check email the day of the event for cancellation due to bad weather.
