Route 66 'Centennial Bigfoot Festival
Bigfoot is back on Route 66! Join in the fun at the 2nd Annual Route 66 Centennial Bigfoot Festival at the Pink Elephant Antique Mall in Livingston, Illinois — a full day of legendary, larger-than-life fun celebrating three major milestones.
This year is truly a Centennial celebration. We’re honoring 100 years of historic Route 66, 100 years of our beloved building — the former Livingston High School — and the upcoming 250th birthday of the United States. The Bigfoot Festival is just one of many special events happening throughout the year as we celebrate these incredible anniversaries in true Pink Elephant style.
From 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the lawn beside the Pink Elephant transforms into a Bigfoot playground packed with family-friendly excitement. Meet engaging Bigfoot researchers and speakers, explore a wide variety of unique vendors, and enjoy interactive Bigfoot games for all ages. Kids can bounce, play, and compete — and brave participants can test their lungs in the famous Sqwatch Hollar Contest. You never know… there just might be a sighting.
Inside the campus, the Twistee Treat Diner will be serving up breakfast and lunch favorites, the Pink Elephant Antique Mall will be open for treasure hunting, and the Mother Road Fudge & Candy Shop will be fully stocked with sweet treats.
Free admission. Free parking. Big family fun.
Celebrate history, legends, and the Mother Road — all in one unforgettable day on Route 66.
