Head to the Pink Elephant Antique Mall on June 20 in honor of three historic milestones: the 100th Anniversary of Route 66, the 100th birthday of the beloved Pink Elephant building (the former Livingston High School), and the 250th Birthday of the USA!

The day begins bright and early with Smokin’ on 66, our non-sanctioned BBQ contest firing up at 6:00am, with winners announced around 4:30pm. Jeep enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Jeep Run Duck Hunt along Route 66 — registration starts at 10:00am and the run begins at 11:00am. From 4:00pm–8:00pm, check out the Twistee Cruise-In (all makes and models welcome) and enjoy an evening of classic cars and community fun.

The 3rd Annual 1st Responders Appreciation Night takes place from 4:00pm–8:00pm as we recognize and thank those who serve. The Miss Red, White and Blue Pinup Contest will bring vintage patriotic flair from 5:00pm–6:00pm.

We’re excited to welcome a vintage tractor run stopping by the property that day, adding even more nostalgia to the celebration. Bounce houses will be available on the lawn (operated by a bounce house company; fees apply). Benld Shelter Adopt-A-Pet will be on site, along with Macoupin County Head Start hosting fun games and activities for the littles — and possibly even a goat petting zoo!

The Twistee Treat Diner, Antique Mall, and Mother Road Fudge & Candy Shop will be open all day.

Bring your lawn chairs, your family, and your patriotic spirit — and celebrate the Mother Road with us! Please visit our Facebook page for up-to-date information
