Kick off Jazz Appreciation Month in style with WSIE 88.7 The Sound and Miner’s Theatre as they launch the 2026 WSIE Music Series with a night full of energy, soul, and incredible sound.

Enjoy an evening featuring Jim Manley & Brass Attitude, bringing a bold, horn driven twist to jazz favorites, along with special guest Janet Evra. The night also includes Rapture, delivering a smooth and soulful tribute to the iconic sound of Anita Baker.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m., so come early, grab your seat, and settle in for a night of unforgettable live music. It’s the perfect way to celebrate jazz that's live, local, and full of rhythm.

Following this kickoff event, the music keeps going all summer long. The WSIE Music Series continues on the fourth Saturday of each month, May through September, at the outdoor amphitheater at Old Herald Brewery & Distillery’s Herald Square in Collinsville!
