Welcome to Our Town: A Live Improvised Play Created with the Audience

Keasler Recreation Complex

615 Third St.
East Alton, IL 62024

Step into a town that doesn’t exist until the audience helps create it.

In this live improvised play, the audience helps create an entire town right before your eyes.

Watch an entire town come to life on stage — created live with the audience.

Welcome to Our Town is an interactive theatrical experience where a brand-new community emerges through imagination and live storytelling. With simple audience suggestions, we discover the town’s atmosphere, its important places, and the people who live there. Audience suggestions are welcome, but participation is always optional.

As the story unfolds, a world gradually emerges through live performance and shared creativity.

During this 45-minute improvised play we’ll collectively discover:

• The town’s atmosphere

• Key locations where life unfolds

• The residents who shape the story

• The unexpected events that connect them

Because the story is created with the audience, no two performances are ever the same.
