Welcome to Wordi Gras! The self-proclaimed "Redneck Mardi Gras" brings all the pizazz and party atmosphere of Fat Tuesday to the tiny town of Worden with a parade, live music throughout the evening, festival food, and drinks aplenty!
The Wordi Gras begins at 10 a.m. and includes a parade which travels down Wall Street, starting at Park Street and Drummond Street. Any float or vehicle can enter the parade - just get in line! Entry is free! Watch as a long procession of floats, tractors, decorated trucks, cars, and marchers take part in the Mardi Gras bash of rural America in purple, green, and gold!
* Festival food and drink vendors will be on site throughout the afternoon. * Most Wordi Gras vendors are cash only!
