
Overview
Stretch your legs and your mind at Lewis & Clark Community College. The college is a two-year higher education institution with multiple campuses, a river research center, and community education and training centers located throughout its district. The college welcomes more than 150,000 visitors to the campus each year for banquets, conferences and events.
Situated on the grounds of the former Monticello Female Seminary, which dates back to 1837, the master campus plan was designed by German architect Theodore Link in 1869. Link was also the architect for St. Louis Union Station.
Take an entertaining walking tour of the stunning campus which includes a lily pond, fountains and gardens designed to inspire students to be environmentally friendly as well as monumental bronze sculptures by world-renowned artists.
The college is also the annual host site of the USTA Men's Futures Pro Tennis Tournament.
