Celebrate the Route 66 centennial with special road trip along the last 100 miles of the Mother Road. From October 9-11, 2026 communities in southwest Illinois will be hosting fun events as part of the Last 100 Miles Festival. Every event highlights the unique character each Route 66 community, with concerts, live art demonstrations, roadside curiosities, fall markets, a BBQ competition, kid-friendly activities, and more. Along the way, collect the Last 100 Miles Trading Cards as a keepsake of your journey!
