Litchfield

A vital part of the Route 66 experience, Litchfield boasts the oldest restaurant on the Mother Road, Ariston Café, and the Route 66 Welcome Center. And, it also is home to the longest running Drive-In Theater on Route 66.  The town is also a shopping destination, especially for the thrifty, hosting monthly Pickers’ Markets during the summer and fall. At Lake Lou Yaeger, the party rolls on all summer long with boating, fishing, hiking, biking and camping among the things to do at the 1,357-acre lake property.
