SIUE's softball facilities have grown to one of the best in the Midwest with numerous changes. After years of success on the field, including a NCAA Division II National Championship in 2007, Cougar Field has grown by epic proportions. The complex has a full locker room off the third base dugout, a press box, elevated stands behind home plate, and additional lawn seating in the outfield.

In 2012, the Cougars opened the Fulginiti Indoor Center, which is located just adjacent from Cougar Field. The indoor facility includes pitching rubbers, a turfed infield, and batting cages. This allows the Cougars to train regardless of weather conditions.
