The Edwardsville Arts Center (EAC) is a vibrant nonprofit arts organization which advocates for the positive impact of art and creative making within a community through opportunities which preserve traditional techniques and inspire contemporary ideas, encourage dialogue while cultivating a sense of community, celebrate ideas and diverse cultures, provide visibility to local artists, encourage the collection of art, and provide an opportunity for expression and engagement. The EAC offers art classes for all ages, free exhibitions, a gallery shop, free art outreach through community events, and the Edwardsville Art Fair. The Art Fair, held on the 4th weekend in September, is an outdoor 3-day annual art celebration featuring local and national visual artists, musical and performing artists, community collaborative art projects, a children’s gallery, food, drink, and an open and energetic environment that draws visitors from all over the region.
