Paying homage to the veteran's of Litchfield, the Memorial Garden is a graceful tribute to all who have sacrificed for America from World War I, World War II, The Vietnam War, Korean War, and vets from Afghanistan. A long arc of walkways with granite markers bears lists of engraved names of soldiers who passed in and out of service. The veteran's monument stretches through Library Park behind the historic Carnegie Library building. Perform a rubbing and take home a loved one or friend's name. Rest and reflect on benches near the monument under the American flag at the serene memorial to American military personnel.
