Historic Route 66 communities are connected by the MCT Quercus Grove trail including Staunton, Hamel, Worden, and Edwardsville. Quercus Grove, an 18.9 mile paved and limestone trail, starts in Staunton in the north and ends in Edwardsville. Stop in at Weezy's in Hamel for a bite to eat or the Yellow Dog Cafe and Bar in Worden. Downtown Staunton is only a short ride or walk away from the trail with restaurants and local shopping. Quercus Grove trail meanders through farm and woodland and is a great trail to watch the sunset, watch for wildlife, or have a trailside picnic.
