Get ready to be part of something extraordinary as the Alton Area Landmarks Association (AALA) brings back its annual historic home tour on Oct. 3 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. Alton, Illinois, is a Mississippi River city steeped in history and preserved architecture. The city is home to three historic districts listed on the National Register of Historic Places — Christian Hill, Middletown and Upper Alton. AALA invites you to tour handpicked historic homes across these districts and take in the rest of the city along the way! Tour is rain or shine and is $15 per person or $10 per person for AALA members. Kids 12 and under get in FREE!
