The 49th Annual Air Race Classic is taking off from St. Louis Regional Airport in East Alton on Tuesday, June 23, and the community is invited to join the excitement before these incredible women pilots soar into the skies!

On Saturday, June 20, start your morning with a delicious Pancake Breakfast hosted by EAA Chapter 864 and stick around to meet the talented racers competing in this year’s historic all-women air race.

  • Saturday, June 20 | 7:30–11:30 a.m.: Enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee, and juice for just $10 per plate.
  • Saturday, June 20 | 9 a.m.–Noon: Meet the Racers and say hello to the 106 participants making up the field of the 49th Annual Air Race Classic.

Bring the family, celebrate aviation history, and cheer on these inspiring women as they prepare for takeoff!
