Fresh off being named Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Town, Carlinville is ready to celebrate the season in a way that feels straight out of a holiday movie!

Join the community on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 6 p.m. for the annual Carlinville Christmas Lighting Ceremony. Enjoy festive Christmas carols performed by local preschoolers before the mayor and Carlinville Queens lead the countdown to the magical moment when the historic downtown Square lights up for the holidays.

Then, listen for the sound of sirens as Santa makes his grand entrance aboard a Carlinville Fire Department truck! He’ll head to his cottage on the Square, where little ones can share their Christmas wishes and enjoy a special visit with the jolly man himself.

From twinkling lights to cherished traditions, Carlinville is ready to make the season merry and bright. Come experience the Christmas magic in Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Town!
