Composting Bokashi Class at Willoughby Heritage Farm
Speed up composting by "pre-composting" kitchen scraps in a method distinct from composting. In this class you will how to layer all kinds of food scraps, including meat, bones, dairy and cooked food, in a small bucket with a special "bran" of microbes to ferment the food scraps, then simply bury them in your garden beds, feed your worm bin, or add to an existing composting system to finish the breakdown process.
