Enjoy a rousing performance of patriotic songs in honor of the 250th celebration of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. Edwardsville's Municipal Band will use a series of songs to portray this milestone in the colonies' quest for independence from Great Britain. Bring a chair, blanket, snacks or beverages to enjoy this free performance in City Park.
Edwardsville's Municipal Band has a long history in Edwardsville; it doesn't date back quite so far as 250 years, but has been performing in the City since the 1880s.
