Experience the incredible process of hummingbird banding as certified hummingbird ornithologists use tiny micro tools and remarkable precision to safely band these amazing birds. It's a rare opportunity to witness conservation in action. Ornithologists Cathie Hutcheson and Samantha Matchefts with the Bird Banding Lab will conducting this exciting event.

Last year, Kathy reported 49 hummingbirds captured, including 41 new bandings. Guests of all ages will enjoy this engaging and educational experience, and children even have the chance to gently assist the birds as they're released back into nature after banding.
