The Macoupin County Fair is “Where Family, Friends, and Neighbors share in the fun.” The oldest fair in the state of Illinois, the Macoupin County Fair has been uniting agriculture, family and community since 1852.

Highlights for the 2026 Macoupin County Fair include:

> Mrs., Miss and Little Miss Pageant on June 3

Carnival attractions, hosted by Conner Family Amusements, include 21 rides, 2 concessions trailers and 8 games. From thrilling rides to carnival game prizes to delicious carnival delicacies, there is something fun for everyone!

NOTE: No animals are allowed on the Fairgrounds with the exception of livestock exhibits and service animals.
