Experience the beauty of the Mississippi River region through the eyes of talented local and regional artists during the 2026 Plein Air Art Exhibit at the National Great Rivers Museum.
Featuring works created entirely outdoors at Rivers Project Recreation Areas throughout May, this juried exhibit showcases stunning paintings and drawings inspired by the natural landscapes, waterways, and scenic beauty of the region.

The exhibit will be on display June 15 through August 30, 2026, and includes artwork from both amateur and professional artists ages 16 and older. Many featured pieces will also be available for purchase.
Join us in celebrating creativity, conservation, and the timeless tradition of plein air art at this special summer exhibit.
