Sunsets are aglow this September on the Alton riverfront! Join the Alton Amphitheater for their new September Sunset Series, happening on select Friday nights, Sept. 4, 11 and 25, from 6–9 p.m.!
Guests can spread out on the lawn with a blanket or lawn chair, enjoy local food and drinks, shop permanent jewelry from Coco + Oak, and watch the sun set over the Mississippi River.
This week's musical guest is Aragon! Aragon brings the next generation of rock to the Alton riverfront. Made up of musicians ages 16-17, this four-piece band from the St. Louis area is known for shredding classic rock favorites from the 1970s through the mid-2000s with fresh energy and impressive musicianship. They’ve lit up local stages with powerful covers, thunderous rhythms, and soul-on-stage intensity, delivering high-energy performances that connect with audiences of all ages.
Don't miss the featured food vendor: Rolling Dogs & Jewel Ice Cream!
Guests are welcome to bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverages, leashed dogs, yard games and anything needed to settle in for an evening on the lawn.
Come catch a sunset, hear some great music and make a Friday night of it on the riverfront.
