The Rabbit Roadside Art Crawl
Staunton’s quirky celebration of art along the Mother Road invites you to slow down, wander, and explore. Staunton's contribution to the Last 100 Miles festival opens the door for you to discover cabinets of curiosity, watch live artists create in real time, and search for hidden rabbits throughout town. This grassroots art crawl honors the creative spirit of Route 66, inspired by and in memory of Henry’s Rabbit Ranch.
Throughout the event, live visual artists will create Route 66-themed works and share insights into the history and meaning of the iconic highway. Musical artists will perform and reinterpret iconic sounds, while a neon maker demonstrates the craft behind this glowing art form. A longtime sign painter will also be onsite showcasing traditional techniques, and guests can even receive custom pinstriping on helmets to commemorate this monumental year.
