To cap off the Last 100 Miles Festival, Carlinville is hosting The Staples of Carlinville on Route 66 on Sunday, Oct. 11, at the historic town square from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Join the community for a celebration of all the things that make Carlinville a special Route 66 town, including live music in the gazebo, a pork cookout, an ice cream social featuring Prairie Farms Ice Cream and an energetic 25-team pumpkin-carving contest!

Whether you're there to celebrate the Mother Road, soak up the charm of Carlinville or compete for the title of pumpkin-carving king or queen, it's sure to be a day filled with fall fun, Route 66 spirit and all!
