For a day filled with fun and educational activities for the entire family check out the Two Rivers Family Fishing Fair! The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pere Marquette State Park- near Grafton on Illinois Route 100. The Annual Fishing Fair will have food and drink, fishing fun, a dog show, and over 30 outdoor activities that families will enjoy!


Some favorites include a catch-and-release bluegill pond, where young anglers can have their photograph taken with their catch; the popular One-Cast station where everyone wins a prize; and the Bow-fishing Stations where children can shoot in a pool or at a 3D target.

This is a free event where families can explore the fun of fishing. Poles, bait and supplies are provided. Families can visit trout and bluegill ponds. More than 30 outdoor educational activities are available. Food and drinks are available on site, and there are free gifts and prizes for visitors. Featured activities include Fetch-n-Fish, dog shows, a 4,000-gallon aquarium, Twisted Cat Outdoors, and Camo the Clown. The Two Rivers Family Fishing Fair is sponsored by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers St. Louis District. Premier sponsors include the Phillips 66 Wood River Refinery, Farm & Home Supply, State Farm, and Walmart.
