Step back in time and experience the rich history of Edwardsville during Voices of Our Past, Woodlawn Cemetery's annual living history fundraiser on Saturday, September 26!

Guided by knowledgeable Woodlawn docents, guests will enjoy a walking tour through the historic cemetery where talented reenactors bring the past to life through engaging graveside performances. Along the way, you'll discover the stories of the people who helped shape Edwardsville and Madison County, gaining a deeper appreciation for the community's history, heritage, and the lasting legacies they left behind.

Each year features a new collection of historical figures and stories, making every Voices of Our Past tour a unique experience. Whether you're attending for the first time or returning year after year, you'll encounter fascinating local history presented through memorable performances in one of Edwardsville's most historic settings.

This special event is made possible through the talents of Alumni Players!, a local community theater group dedicated to bringing stories and characters to life through engaging performances.

Tickets will go on sale soon and advanced tickets are encouraged. Tickets will also be available at the event (cash only, while available).

All proceeds benefit the ongoing preservation, restoration, and care of historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
