Take a look at the creepy side of art with the Ghost Stories: Art of Oddities exhibit at Jacoby Arts Center.

The exhibit features individuals' interpretations of global, national, and local tales of ghost stories, hauntings, history, urban legends, and folklore. The exhibit is presented by Jacoby Arts Center and American Oddities Museum.

There will be a reception and awards on Friday, Oct. 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Troy Taylor, owner of American Oddities Museum, will give a brief talk and highlight the haunted history of the Jacoby Arts Center space. Light refreshments will be served. Following the reception, put on your best Halloween costume and take part in adult trick or treating on Third Street in Alton. Purchase a Creepy Crawly Tote for $10 to bag all your treats.
